Wild With Consent: Camping Off-Grid Responsibly

Finding places to park your camper and rest your head can be overwhelming, especially for those that are wanting to experience the freedom of vanlife off-grid. Even when you think you’ve found the perfect spot, vanxiety can creep in as there’s always the possibility you may be parking somewhere out-of-bounds and be asked to move on. Well, vanlife experts, nomad newbies and all the explorers in between, Wild With Consent may just be the answer to your wilderness-loving prayers.

What is Wild With Consent?

This is wild camping, but not as you know it. At Wild With Consent, you can book a wild camping spot directly with their hosts to get off-grid and ditch the crowded campsites. Each off-grid camping site is a designated, secluded area of private land, and it’s all for you. All locations accept only one booking at a time, guaranteeing you peace and privacy… Guests are requested to leave no trace so the wilderness is left wild. Enjoy feeling like the only people in the world at a Wild With Consent off-grid site.

Nature reserves, rivers, lakes, farms, forests and coasts – take your pick of the many remote private pitches at Wild With Consent. All locations are visited in person to ensure you have the pick of our beautiful countryside and uninterrupted access to nature. Watch the owls swooping overhead at dusk as you sit around your campfire, and wake up to an undisturbed dawn chorus – enjoyed from the comfort of your bed!

Grace Fell co-founder of Wild With Consent believes this is a solution vanlifers and campers have been needing for years “We’ve had a family campervan – fondly named Tubs – since I was in my early teens, but the first summer of the pandemic was the first time I’d taken it off by myself for a holiday. I travelled around the UK in Tubs, looking for peaceful, beautiful spots to fully relax. It struck me how hard it was to find those truly remote places and how many beauty spots were becoming overcrowded as more people discovered the joy of holidaying in a campervan. I wanted to provide a solution that works for both the local community and visitors seeking freedom, adventure and secluded locations to stay.”
