Vehicle Description

Citroen Relay 2015 2.2 L2H1 New build Camper Conversion.
Low mileage at 73,000 miles.
2.2 engine with 130bhp
35MPG achievable
Pre Euro 6 engine so far less troublesome than the later 2.0litre engines fitted to the Relay/Boxer vans.
I’m only the second owner from new.
Excellent body and mechanical condition having just had a full body strip down respray in Graphite Grey Raptor paint – This paint looks fantastic and is a very hard wearing textured protective coating that gives the van a stealth look. It enhances the vans appearance massively taking it from a dull white van to something purposeful and unique.

Full service just completed.
Underside rustproofed with Waxoyl.
New brake discs and pads on all corners.
New handbrake cables.
12 months MOT with no advisories.

Brand new Calibre All-Terrain alloy wheels and Comforser Off-road capable tyres.
DAB/Bluetooth radio with USB connectivity.
Rear parking sensors.
Cruise control/speed limiter
Air Conditioning
Side windows fitted (opening glass in drivers side)
The camper drives beautifully with no issues as a result of the low mileage and careful first owner.

Conversion Description

Stunning 2015 Citroen Relay 2.2 bespoke stealth Campervan, Brand new conversion and ready for outdoor adventures. This van stands out from the crowd with it’s rugged all terrain exterior styling and cosy Scandinavian inspired interior. It’s a very comfortable and spacious feeling layout which works extremely well and is low stress to use, no playing Tetris when it’s time to put the dining table away and set up the bed!
Being a low roof medium wheelbase model it’s a compact campervan so doesn’t feel cumbersome to drive and park in tight carparks but still feels very spacious and has a large kitchen, loads of storage areas and the all important fixed bed. Because it’s not a large van it means it will be welcome on most campsites and pub carparks that possibly would not welcome larger campervans and motorhomes.

The conversion:

Fixed 6’x4′ double bed with spring and memory foam mattress.
Recesses at each end of bed to give extra room.
Kitchen with 2 burner stainless gas hob and stainless sink with cold power tap fed by a Shurflo trailking pump.
Large amount of storage inside kitchen unit for food and clothes etc.
Hidden waste bin inside kitchen door.
Hidden pull out internal draw for kitchen utensils and small bits.
Modified home kitchen base units with soft close door hinges.
Huge storage cupboard in corner unit of kitchen – you could fit the weekly shop and all of your pots and pans on here!
Insulated laminate wood effect flooring.
Overhead pine shelf for storage of; mugs, glasses, drinks and other bits and bobs
Gas locker for Campingaz 907 bottle mounted in kitchen unit and vented through floor to gas specs (bulkhead regulator and solid gas pipe also to regs but not signed off)
You will need to supply your own gas bottle from local supplier.
2x 25L water tanks in kitchen unit, one for waste and one for grey water.
2 comfy bench seats with foam cushions trimmed in beautiful mustard herringbone material.
Lift up lid with large storage area for clothing and equipment.
The passenger side seat bench lifts up to reveal the Thetford 165 cassette toilet, easily removable for emptying.
45litre 12v fridge freezer hidden inside kitchen unit.
Pull out square dining table mounted on stainless steel heavy duty runners. Great for those who want to work remotely from their van, as this will also make a great work desk.
6x LED down lights and 2x ambient nighttime lights on a separate circuit – perfect for bedtime reading and creating a cosy atmosphere.
Painted ply panelling on interior of van with suede rear door panelling.
Pine cladded ceiling
Solid oak worktop and wood trims around the living area.
Tiled worktop splashback.
Fully insulated ceiling, walls and underfloor
Blackout roller blind on kitchen side window.
Cab curtain to separate the cab from the living area.
Blackout curtain on sliding door window.
2KW Lavaner high quality diesel heater mounted in garage area and plumbed directly into van diesel tank. This is a huge bonus if you are using the Camper between October and March, it warms the van up to a toasty temperature in less than 10 minutes!
Large garage area with door access from living area for storing outdoor gear and mountain bikes. I’ve tried to keep the garage area as clear as possible for carrying outdoors equipment and supplies if you are travelling for a while. The garage also has lighting and contains the camper electrics.
Carbon monoxide alarm fitted and fire extinguisher located in kitchen cupboard.

Electrical system:

Huge 280AH lithium leisure battery (capable of many days of off-grid power)
Renogy 30A DC-DC MPPT onboard charger for safe and efficient charging of the leisure battery from the main vehicle battery whilst running. This clever device also controls the charging from the solar panel and will swap between the two charging inputs when required.
100W solar panel mounted on roof to keep the leisure battery topped up (space for another beside it depending on your off-grid use)
Charging display inside living area to keep an eye on battery levels.
All 12v inputs fused correctly and isolators on leisure battery and inverter.
Mains hookup with socket mounted conveniently in rear bumper for use on campsites.
2000W inverter for 230v mains power when on the go. This will power an air fryer to make off-grid cooking much easier. It could also be used to run a laptop or hairdryer.
Double plug socket for inverter mounted in living area.
Double plug socket in garage and double socket in living area fed from consumer unit for hookup electrics.
12v Shurflo Trailking water pump with inline filter and accumulator to provide a reliable, steady water supply.
USB Phone and Tablet charging point in living area.
Switch panel in living area for fridge, water pump and lighting.

I’ve had a huge amount of enjoyment building this van and look forward to seeing it go to its next owner to be enjoyed and used. It really does look fantastic and you’re not likely to see another like it! Viewing highly recommended.
