This has been this years project, I am an Electrical Engineer by trade and had regular help from a joiner who has professionally fitted the kitchen and other things.
The conversion utilities a 200aH battery and can be successfully off grid for a couple of days at a time, the split charger ensures the battery is always charging whilst the van is in motion and also a 230 hook up which supplied sockets and also charges the leisure battery in the van. It has just had a brand new IKEA kitchen professional fitted by a joiner which was worth £1100 with substantial storage with a metal sink and double gas hob.
We have had some great trips in this van and are sat to let us go, however we now have a wedding to pay for!
Semi fixed bed in the Camper Van, used as a 2 berth however you could easily fit 3 people in the bed as it 1.6 metres wide and 1.8 metres long. The bed pulls out on an evening to make it larger.
