Our camper began her life travelling around the country. A number of years ago she was converted by a previous owner and spent time visiting festivals and travelling around the southwest . We purchased her in September 2020 and then spent many hours refurbishing her with a nautical theme in mind. She has a private registration , fitting her nautical theme and this is included in the sale.
Since 2020 she has been used by us, but also provide a good rental income, travelling mainly in Devon, Cornwall and Dorset, has made a trip to the Glastonbury festival, as well as making a number of trips to London (ULEZ compliant) and also one long trip to Scotland and the Scottish islands .
She has had a number of upgrades, including professionally installed gas system (landlord certificate valid until September 2024) and professionally installed 2kw Planar diesel heating systems. The diesel heating system is super efficient , is toasty warm and can be remotely controlled from your phone.
She also has a 170w solar panel that provides enough power to run her systems off grid both day and night, the solar panel charges both the leisure battery and the van battery.
You can also plug the camper into a 240v supply (cable provided) . This with provide power to two sockets inside the van via an RCD. The battery charger can be connected to these sockets, as can other sockets front and rear. There is also an inverter included that can be used to provide a 240v power supply from the battery when off grid.
Our van has two skylights, one being a Fiamma turbo fan above the kitchen area, great when cooking or creating a flow of air in the summer months.
She has three keys, with the spare being kept in a key safe under the van.
Mechanically she is in good condition, regularly serviced, and the next MOT is due in January 2024. Last year she had four new tyres, which are all still in good condition.
Water is provided to the ‘victorian style” tap in the sink , via a 12v water pump fed from a 25 lt water container. Grey water from the sink is collected in a separate 25 lt container stored under the sink.
She has a good sized portable compressor fridge/freezer in the rear, the setting of which can be controlled by bluetooth if required.
She has a portable toilet onboard which is stored in its case and will fit neatly in the cupboard under the sink.
Our van has lots of storage , under the seats, in the overhead lockers, in cupboards,and in drawers . There is also space under the main bed and storage in the rear of the van.
There are a range of lighting options in the van, including two sets of 12v ceiling lights, remote control spot lights,2x reading lights, rear LED lights and remote control multicoloured LED light string..
In the cab you’ll find a GPS and rear view camera (included) .
She has a GPS tracker installed that will send alerts to your phone , so that you always know where she is.
The van has a tow bar with electrics and currently has a cycle carrier bracket attached .
On the outside is an awning rail that will allow the awning (supplied) to be attached (see photos). Chairs and table also included.
Our camper is unique, gets admiring looks and has received many positive reviews from the people who have used her.
She comes complete with fixtures and fittings, including a handbook and is ready for your adventure and/or to rent out should you wish!
The large double bed can easily accommodate larger adults . The bed unfolds slides out for night time use and is stowed away during the day to create the maximum amount of living space. The bed is very comfortable .
The two children’s beds are hidden away in the day, but are created by easily removing the wooden bulk heads for night time.. .
