We’re reluctantly selling our beloved campervan, Donkey. We spent 6 months carefully building her for our exact needs, and she just carried us flawlessly through a 7,000-mile road trip across Europe. We’re only selling because we’re moving away and can’t take her with us.
She has many miles ahead of her, as she spent most of her working life working for the council with regular servicing, no rough treatment, and a very clear MOT. She also runs on a timing chain rather than a belt, which means no costly cambelt changes in the future. She is ready to be taken on her next adventure!
Vehicle-

– 84,000 miles
– next MOT due: 9 months
– Body works in good condition, a few nicks and bumps. (Looks like a work van on the outside which was great for incognito wild camping)
– Mechanically very sound
– Two keys and reverse camera installed
Locking-
the central locking doesn’t work, so you have to manually lock each door. There are heavy-duty industrial locks on the sliding and back doors so very safe. We happily spent 3.5 months traveling Europe with it completely fine, just a bit more of a faff. Can definitely be fixed just haven’t got round to it!
Large storage area under the bed we purposely left free so that it can be used as a diverse space, such as storing bikes. You can also easily remove the bed with a few skrews to make an even larger space. Electrical system safely installed in the storage cupboard.
Electrics-
Off-grid Victron electrical system. A reliable system that charges the fridge, lights, phones, laptops, and coffee machine off-grid. We traveled for 2.5 months and didn’t have to plug in once.

– King-sized tri-folding bamboo memory foam mattress (super comfy and large sleeping lengthways as both over 6ft) could also be used as a fixed bed sleeping sideways.
– Large skylight over bed with blind and fly screen for extra ventilation and stargazing.
