Mileage 155k

Lucy-Lou was previously a Travis Perkins fleet vehicle, so very well maintained and regularly serviced. She has just passed the most recent MOT on May 23rd 2025 with no advisories.

Lucy-lou is fully insulated, double aluminum skin with a fiberglass roof, the underbody is in great condition and the roof has been maintained well. We painted Lucy-lou with military vehicle paint in β€˜ Sea grass green’ if she ever needs a repaint.

Lucy-lou has been the most incredibly reliable home and vehicle, never failing to start even in the depths of winter. She is full power, with triple leaf springs and twin wheels on the back. She is a bit of a beast and will get you to anywhere you want to go without a hitch!

The Inside-

We bought Lucy-lou already converted back in 2021, but have since replaced and redone almost everything in sight. With a fully functioning wood burning stove, double bed, cosy and comfortable seating area, spacious kitchen with hobs, sink and Dometic fridge, composting toilet, you will want for nothing!

While Lucy-lou has been a great home to us as a couple, she would also make a great family camper, as the sofa turns into another double bed, perfect for kids.

The main double bed is above the cab, like most luton conversions, and with a MAXX Fan and window you can have a beautiful breeze to keep you cool even in the summer months! The fan offers temperature control and rapid cooling and quiet airflow at night and comes with a remote control. The Bed area also has a warm reading light with USB plug.

In terms of the kitchen, Lucy-lou has a 100L water tank, we found this would last us around 7 days off conservative use before needing to refill. There are two gas rings, perfect for your morning and cooking meals set in a large oak worktop.

Lucy-lou comes stacked with 750 watts of solar, meaning she can go days without sunshine and still power your devices and run the Dometic fridge- freezer. There is also a DC-DC battery charger, which charges the battery as you drive, so if you ever need a top up, you just turn on the engine and go for a drive and finally 230V Shore power plug-in; This also charges your leisure battery and gives you 230V sockets around the van.

The woodburner comes with an essential twin flue for safety and steel heat shield, so you can have a nice warm fire with a calm mind.

This van comes with ample storage space, with space under the benches, overhead for clothes and lots of kitchen cupboard space. We also added a beautiful vintage cabinet which acted as a shoe cupboard. The van also has some other characterful features like the boat porthole windows, which are excellent for security and look great too. We added in a large opening skylight which adds in lots more light in the main area.

We built a sneaky composting toilet which pulls out on runners from under the wood burner.
