So I bought the van part converted and continued doing some bits myself, as you can see in the photos there’s still some little projects, but I’ve bought the parts (water heater/sink/tap)
Actual mechanics and engine is great, it’s the 2.4L Diesel engine which is well known for being bullet proof, have got some service history and proof of new clutch at 50k miles! – MOT until Feb 2025.
Body work isn’t perfect, but good for the age of the van, rust isn’t bad at all.
The issue is he currently weighs 3.9 tonnes, have contacted 2 companies and they say based on the plates he’d be easy to up-rate as just a paperwork exercise, I just haven’t moved ahead as I don’t have the license and I’m too busy with work at the moment.
