Based on a Council minibus, this Ford Transit is a colourful conversion, ready for the fun of summers ahead. Suited ideally to a family with 4 belted passenger seats and double bunk beds. The van would be easily at home at the various upcoming festivals and make for a truly fun festival experience.
There is a kitchen with a double gas hob. Plenty of storage over the worktop with two shelves and a wine rack for 3 bottles.
The large sink has 55L fresh water (12V whale pump) and 45L grey water underslung tanks.
Under the kitchen are 4 large cupboards with shelving. The smallest cupboard is reserved for the 7kg gas bottle, pipe work and pedal bin.
The large sofa is ample for 2-3 people and can be used as a childs bed. There are also 2 x USB ports mounted in the dividing wall.
At the rear are double fixed bunk beds. The lower “master” bed has access to 2 x USB ports from the solar controller, LED overhead lamp and storage net. The mattress is fully sprung measuring 200cm x 140cm x 20cm. Under the bed is the 130AH battery and fuses as well as ample boot space (200cm x 140cm x 55cm). The 12V system is kept topped up by the 100W solar panel and also is charged by the split charge relay whilst driving.
The dining area comprises of 4 belted seats around a fixed table. The table has 2 USB ports integrated as well as LED lighting underneath.
Just behind the dining area is the 12v compressor fridge. Its is top loading and has ample storage space (45L). Under the fridge are storage cupboards.
There is a Thetford cassette toilet in the bathroom as well as a mirror, towel rack and loo roll holder.
The van is insulated and has a heater to the living area. Although the heater only operates when the engine is running. It uses the vans coolant system to warm the air. The cab has 2 overhead storage lockers, electric and heated wing mirrors and a reversing camera.
The Minibus gives a lot of space and has a very feel good festival vibe when sitting aboard. A land yacht ready for fun with friends and family.
