Recent MOT advisories were described by our trusted garage as very minor and not requiring attention. A full health check confirms the van is in good overall condition with minimal rust for its age.
Originally owned by a local council, the van was well maintained and has passed every MOT since we purchased it in 2020.
The medium wheelbase (MWB) makes it much easier to park and drive than a long wheelbase, while still offering excellent interior space. The high-top roof allows comfortable standing height (around 6ft), perfect for year-round weekend adventures or longer escapes.
In the spirit of full transparency:
– Remote central locking isn’t working (we use the key in the door)
– Radio needs resetting, so we’ve been using a portable speaker instead
– As expected for its age, there are a few cosmetic scrapes and areas of faded paintwork. Purely visual, not structural.

The conversion is in good condition and has been carefully self-built, offering a warm, characterful, and flexible space. It’s not a factory-built van, so some details reflect the charm of a personal build, but it’s solid, well thought-out, and easily adaptable if you want to tweak the setup.
