Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

12 Months MOT (Mid April 2025) with three new tyres and new rear brake pads. The overall condition of the van is excellent, with average miles for the year. Being a late 2017 (October registered) van it benefits from being ULEZ and Clean air zone compliant round the country. The 2.3L engine is strong and has the optional 145PS Business pack rather than the standard 135PS. I have fitted a reversing camera in to the rear light cluster, replicating the factory installed alternative. There is a small pop-up screen in the cabin for the camera with the ability to feed directly into a double DIN head unit at a later stage.

Within the current ownership of 2 years, the van has been meticulously serviced and upkept, with large receipts for work on the brakes all round with new calipers and holders. Unfortunately, there is no service history prior to my ownership but the van was serviced as part of the commercial schedule of works beforehand.

The bodywork is in great shape, far exceeding what you would expect from the age and mileage. There has been recent work on minor areas, scratches, dents etc, and is now looking very tidy. The driver cabin benefits from carpet, and the seats are tear free and in great condition. There are no leaks or areas of concern for the vehicle condition overall.

Conversion Description

OVERALL SUMMARY

This well appointed, cosy conversion is perfect for two people with a full size bed and loads of creative storage in and around the van. The rear cargo area makes this van very practical to own outside of your camping trips. The compact but full height size of this Master makes it easy to drive in urban areas and still manages over 30MPG. Overall, the brand new conversion has tobe seen to be appreciated, and is ready to go. The conversion has been professionally carried out with invoices for everything.

ELECTRICAL

2 x DC Power 130Ah AGM batteries: These are high quality, commercially supplied AGM batteries. These are of far better quality than most AGM batteries and are very, very heavy. The batteries should last for many years to come and are rated at 600 cycles @ 50% discharge, more if you look after them well.
Victron Phoenix 12/250 Pure Sine Wave inverter.
Victron Orion-Tr Smart isolated 18-18 DC smart charger. This charges the leisure battery from the alternator according to the van’s state. This is essential for ‘smart alternator’ fitted Euro 6 vehicles.
Victron Blue-Smart Charger 15A for electrical hook-up.
Renogy Rover 30A MPPT Solar charger
Hyundai 400W Mono-crystalline solar panel.
Full Midi/Mega bus bar.
210A Negative bus bar.
Main 150A DC isolator.
IP65 Rated 230V consumer unit with 6A and 16A double pole MCBs.
12-way main fuse box for 12V accessories.

CBE switch gear for lighting (dimmable) and USB sockets.
230V Schneider sockets with USB charging ports from the inverter.
60W USB-C charger with PD. This is a great addition for charging high power USB-C devices like Macbooks without having to use the inverter.

All circuits are appropriately fused, mainly with accessible MIDI fuses. The DC-DC charger is fitted with a 30A MIDI fuse and is accessible in the main cabin area in the under seat storage. The system has been designed with accessibility and ease of use in mind, and nothing is difficult to get to or change, with all cables surface mounted. This should mean upgrades or work in the future will be relatively easy. Most cabling throughout between main appliances is 16mm.

PLUMBING & GAS

Propex HS2000 Heatsource LPG heater. This is externally flued and the exhaust mounted to the underside through an insulated, treated and heat proofed hole.
All LPG lines are 8mm microbore copper with compression fit fittings. There are LPG isolators for both the hob and the heater/water heater. These are accessible in the under seat storage and can be turned off easily. The only flexible LPG lines are the tails for both the water heater and the hob. The HS2000 is hardlined.

The LPG lines are secured with 8mm rubber lined clips throughout the van and non are in any danger of being knocked or caught on luggage. The LPG tank (currently a 7KG Propane container, new) is in an approved gas locker, with 1.5 bar regulator off the pigtail within the enclosure. This then exits the steel enclosure through an 8mm rubber grommet into the habitation area. There is a drop-out vent within the enclosure as per regulation.

Water is from an upright 60L water tank supplied by TanksDirect and is located within the kitchen area for accessibility and easy cleaning. The water is plumbed through 15mm JG-SpeedFit pex piping throughout the habitation area and is pumped with a Shurflo Trail-King 30 PSI 12V diaphragm pump. The pex piping is then converted to compression fit copper lines in the rear where it enters the LPG water heater. The pump and accumulator tank are hidden underneath the kitchen cabinet floors.

The LPG water heater is for an outdoor shower (Pictured) and can be used when the door is open so as to vent to atmosphere. The hot water is instantaneous, and can be adjusted for temperature and flow. The gas inlet has a small flexible pig tail into 8mm microbore. It is a Camplux tankless LPG water heater, rather than the more commonly found unbranded versions, and is a much higher quality unit.

FIT-OUT

Fully insulated with kingspan 25mm on the floor and ceiling. Kingspan 75mm – 100mm has been used for the sides. Inorganic insulation has been used in all other parts of the interior where PIR board is unsuitable. The PIR board is sealed at joints with aluminium tape. The battoning serves as the main structure of the interior and the ceiling is fixed to this with the wiring for the downlights. There is a MaxxAir Deluxe remote controlled fan in the front to provide ventilation and a large panel window on the driver side.

The bulkhead has been cut in half and felted over to provide a good view out and light into the habitation area while retaining the strength of the steel panel for affixing the kitchen. The kitchen is handbuilt and provides ample storage and functionality. The pipework and electrical fittings are very easy to access inside the cabinets, and there is a small 10L waster water canister that is easy to remove and clean. This simple solution to grey water is light, and compact.

There is a Cookology 2 ring hob with 230V auto ignition from the inverter or by manually lighting with a flame. The jets have been changed over for LPG. The gas line is affixed to the top back of the underside of the counter, out of sight but easily accessible. In the same area is a 230V socket for the fridge, should you want to run it from the 230V hook up when connected.

The floor is hard wearing laminate, light in colour affixed to 12mm marine ply. The rear is carpeted for durability and low noise when carrying cargo. The cargo area has been left intentionally open and with a high ceiling. The area is generally a great size and makes the campervan really useful as a full cargo carrying van. There is downlighting in there too, operated from a small switch when you open the door. All pipework is kept clear of the floor and out of the way.

The fridge is a absorption fridge, and while being more consuming, it is silent and very effective and cooling things quickly. The fold out oak table is very sturdy on two heavy duty steel ratcheting brackets and can be stowed away easily. The two seats either and comfortable and provide space for a thetford toilet in one with storage/access to gas and electrical fittings in the other.
