Welcome to the sale of Reggie, my 64 reg. Peugeot Boxer L3H2, (Long Wheelbase High roof).
Before me, Reggie was owned by an Air-Conditioning company in Liskeard, Cornwall, & had done 250,000 miles. He is now on 257,000 miles, which may go up slightly as he is still in use. He is MOT’d until 28th October 2021.
Since owning him, I have given the engine a Full service, & replaced the EGR valve, & the air flow sensors & I have also fitted a new Turbo.
There has also been no expense spared on the actual conversion of Reggie into a Motorhome, with everything fitted being brand new:
There is a Rhino roof rack, with 2 x 120watt Solar panels mounted to it, as well as 2 sky lights, 1 in the shower room with a fan, and the other in the living area. Reggie is fully insulated & is ply lined, to keep you cool in Summer & warm in Winter. There is a great feature ceiling, also made from ply. There are plenty of LED downlights and there is also LED multi coloured mood lighting.
There is plenty of storage in Reggie, with many kitchen cabinets & over head cupboards, not to mention a rear under bed garage, which is accessible from the inside & the outside of the van, in which the gas, leisure battery & fuseboard, and a fresh water refill are housed.
The kitchen features a deep Stainless steel sink, with a Mixer tap, and there is a full size Oven & Hob.
Hot water comes from an onboard Forcali gas boiler which provides hot water, to both the shower room, and the kitchen.
The living area, in the front of the van, has a swivel tabel, & sofa style seating, which transforms into a pull out single bed, which compliments the large double bed, to be found in the rear bedroom of the van.
I absolutely love Reggie, and there is still room for you to customisze him to your taste, and put your own stamp on him. The only thing I would do if I was keeping him, would be to put the twin front seat on a swivel base, as this would open up the living area.
Reggie is not registered as a Campervan and he is not a show van, so if cosmetic scatches and the odd small dent bother you, then Reggie is not for you. This van is absolutely awesome, and I love him to bits, having had many great adventures with him, but sadly, I have to let him go, in order to help me finance another project, but I know that someone out there, will love him like I do & take him back out on the open road for many more fantastic adventures.
