We’re selling our beloved Sprinter to downsize. This van has given us so many incredible trips since it was converted through lockdown 2020.
The van has a valid MOT up until 22nd June 2025.
The van has just has 4 new break pads and a new alternator belt.
This is a medium wheel base, medium height 63 plate Mercedes Sprinter. It has been professionally fitted with a 12/240 volt leisure battery system with a 1600w inverter. This battery system is powered by a 275 watt solar panel with a 20 amp Vitron controller that is operated using Bluetooth, as well as a split charge relay from the van’s alternator. This means that the van is never without power, even when parked for several days. The battery is connected to 8 dimmable lights on 2 switches (4 over the kitchen, 4 over the bed). The battery also powers a Fiamma Turbo vent with fan, as well as 2 USB chargers and two 240v plugs connected to the inverter for use off-grid. The van also has mains-charging capability so has two 240v plugs connected to mains charging.
The van is fitted with a full kitchen worktop with ample storage, as well as an overhead cupboard. There is also a sink fitted in the kitchen, with a tap operated by a Whale Foot-pump. Water is supplied from a jerry can in the kitchen unit, and waste water is disposed into a grey water tank in the unit.
There is also storage fitted above the cab which is perfect for clothes storage on long trips.
There are two large seats in the dining area, with storage underneath and a natural edge pine tabletop on a Lagun table mount. This can be moved to be used as a dining table, or bedside table.
The bed sits at the back of the van and is 137x166cm when not fully extended. There are extendable slats built in to the bed frame that extend to make the bed 166x190cm. A projector screen is rolled up at the foot of the bed, and a projector mount at the head.
There is a lot of storage under the bed that is accessible from the living area or the back doors. The storage also extends under the seats – which is perfect for storage of surfboards!
There are a few rust spots on the body of the van.

The van can sleep 2 people, there is an IKEA fold up foam mattress. We have built the bed to be extended to create a huge bed. When the bed is not extended it’s 137 x 166cm and when the extension is pulled out, it’s 166cm x 190cm.
