For sale is our beloved VW T4 Camper Van. Selling to upsize
Van specifications include:
* βVan Furnitureβ L shape pull out bed (large)
* Isotherm 12v fridge with freezer box (excellent fridge)
* Split charge system (charges leisure battery while driving)
* Leisure battery with 12v charger when connected to mains hook up.
* 3 pin mains plug socket with USB socket.
* 12v USB and USB-C charger socket with battery voltage indicator.
* Diesel heater
* Sink and tap with 12V water pump
* Plenty of smart storage space
* Black out curtains
* Fiamma 2 bike bicycle rack
* Heavy duty rear boot struts that allow the boot to open with bikes and rack fitted (this is very handy)
In the time we have owned the van the list of new components fitted and work carried out to the vehicle includes:
* Cam belt and water pump (July 2023)
* Oil and filter service (May 2024)
* Oil and filter service (2023)
* New radiator (2023)
* New starter motor (2024)
* New engine battery (2024)
* New front shock absorbers (2024)
* New rear shock absorbers (2023)
* New rear springs (2023)
* New front suspension bump stops (2024)
* 2 new rear tyres (May 2023)
* New front brake pads (August 2023)
* New front and rear bumpers (2023)
* New diesel bleed off hoses (2023)
When we first bought the van it was in need of some bodywork repairs to enable it to pass its MOT. This included near side and offside front door seals and some repairs around the rear seals. The paint work is as what you would expect of a 30 year old van with some scratches and stone chips although in overall good condition. Viewing is welcome and encouraged.
On the log book it is noted that the van has had some sort of accident damage at some point in its life. At a guess this must have been from earlier on in the van’s life as neither myself or the previous owner had any incidents the vehicle. The van drives and operates as it should. As mentioned above, full checks of the van are fully welcome on viewing.
This van has been absolutely brilliant in the time we have owned it – itβs taken us up and down the country and on several fantastic trips through the Alpes. It will be sadly missed.
