Latitude Festival 2027 Campervan Hire
Latitude 2027 runs from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 July at Henham Park in Suffolk. Tickets are on sale now, there’s no registration and no ballot, which makes it one of the more civilised festivals to plan!
It’s also one of the easiest to do in a campervan, partly because Latitude makes it straightforward and partly because the festival suits the way a van works.

CAMPERVAN HIRE INFORMATION
Important Latitude Campervan Hire Information

Hire includes: A handmade campervan, insurance, breakdown cover and kitchen equipment. Optional extras such as bedding and camping furniture vary by van and are added at booking — check the individual listing.
Hire does NOT include:
Your Latitude weekend camping tickets
Your campervan pass
Delivery to site
Fuel
Tickets and the campervan pass both come from Latitude directly. We can’t sell you either.

Will my campervan qualify?
Latitude has a specific definition, and it’s stricter than “anything you can sleep in”. Based on the published campervan terms, a qualifying vehicle needs:
- a door giving access to the living accommodation
- a permanently fixed bed at least 1800mm long
- a water storage tank or container
- a permanent seating or dining area
- fixed storage
- at least one side window
Every Quirky Camper is a full conversion and meets all of this comfortably, so it isn’t something you’ll need to think about with one of ours. It does rule out a van with a mattress in the back.

Vehicle owners can’t deliver to site. You collect the van from the owner, get a full walkthrough of how everything works, and drive it to Henham Park yourself.
Collection points vary by van and are shown on every listing, so check the location before you book and pick something near you or on your way.

What do Latitude Campers say?
Pricing for Latitude campervan hire
Most people collect on the Wednesday and return on the Monday – five nights, which gives you time to get to Suffolk without rushing and to drive home after Sunday rather than in the middle of the night.
| Five nights | |
|---|---|
| Smaller vansxq | £750 – £935 |
| Larger or more luxurious | £935 – £1,100 |
In a four-berth that works out at roughly £235 a head. In a five-berth, closer to £190.
QUICK ANSWERS FOR HIRERS
Latitude campervan hire FAQ
Site rules worth knowing before you pack
No electric hook-up. For four nights it’s the van’s leisure battery and solar, so pick one with the power setup to match how much you plan to plug in. It’s the thing hirers most consistently underestimate.
No campfires and no disposable barbecues. Latitude is strict on this — the published terms say anyone lighting a fire will be evicted from the site.
One tent or awning per vehicle, and it needs to fit your pitch.
Shared water points and waste disposal, with all waste water going into the containers provided.
You’ll be sent a windscreen hanger with your routing directions before you travel.
Which length band will my campervan be in?
Worth working out before you buy your pass, because Latitude is the one festival where van size changes what you pay. Every listing shows the van’s length, so you can check before you book either the van or the pass.
We have 60 vans under 5m, 70 between 5-7m and 35 vans over 7m
Why take a campervan to Latitude?
Latitude isn’t a festival you survive, it’s one you settle into. Four days of music, comedy, theatre, books and swimming in the lake, with a crowd that skews older and more family-heavy than most.
That’s exactly the rhythm a campervan suits. You can go back during the day rather than sitting out the hot bit of the afternoon. A kitchen matters over four days, breakfast on your own terms and a fridge that isn’t a cool bag with yesterday’s ice in it. And Suffolk in late July is lovely and entirely unreliable, which a van covers both ways.
Do I need a ticket for everyone in the van?
Yes. A weekend camping ticket for every person staying in the campervan, plus one campervan pass for the vehicle. Day ticket holders can’t access the campervan area at all.
Is Latitude good with children?
It’s one of the better family festivals in the country, and the pricing reflects it. Family Weekend Camping costs the same as general camping, teen tickets are £195 and child tickets £28.
A campervan makes a family festival considerably easier: somewhere for a nap, a fridge for the food they’ll actually eat, and a door you can shut when someone’s had enough. Our family campervans have the berths and layouts for it.
Where would I collect the van from?
Henham Park is near Southwold in the north of Suffolk. We currently have about 25 vans close to this area, but one of the interesting things about hiring a Quirky Camper is that you don’t necessarily need to hire at the destination, but you could collect your van on the journey or closer to home. This opens up 250 unique, crafted vans to take to Latitude.
When should I book?
Unlike some of the other major UK festivals, Latitude has a reputation for not selling out within minutes, and tickets have been available since August of 2026. There’s no ticket scramble to plan around, so instead make sure that you’ve booked the right accommodation and you’ve got the right people on board for a great weekend.
The campervan passes, however, are a slightly different matter. The field can only take so many campervans, and therefore the size of the field is more important than the ticket demand. The cheaper length bands go first, so be mindful if you have a smaller van that you’d like to bring to book earlier. What we would recommend is booking the van early, as late July generally is peak season, and so the vans that are festival-friendly will go first.
What’s worth doing nearby?
Henham Park doesn’t just set the stage for one of the UK’s most notorious festivals, but it’s also right by the Suffolk coast, so why not extend your festival hire beyond what the festival can offer?
- Drive your campervan to Southwold, roughly 10 minutes away, and enjoy a walk on the pier. Take some pictures of the beach hut, or visit the lighthouse in the centre of the town.
- Walberswick and Dunwich are also an exciting day out. You can go crabbing in the harbour, take a look at the heathland, and experience a village that quite literally fell into the sea.
- You could visit an RSPB reserve, Minsmere, and see some of the rarest bird species in the UK. Not your thing?
- Alderberg and Orford offer shingle beaches, a famous scallop, and some very good fish and chips.
Late July is peak season, so good weather is almost certainly guaranteed. Enjoy the Suffolk coast and book your campsites early.
Why hire from Quirky Campers?
Every van on our site is handmade — converted by its owner rather than bought as fleet stock. We review each one before it goes live, and you collect from the person who built it with a full walkthrough of how everything works.
