Glastonbury is back in 2027. After a planned fallow year in 2026, the festival will return to Worthy Farm for five days in June.

If you are already thinking about tickets and campervan plans, you are not too early. The dates, the ticket sale and the prices are all now confirmed. Campervan pass details are the last piece still to come.

This guide covers what’s confirmed, what we can reasonably expect from last cycle, and the one decision on ticket sale day that catches campervan people out every year.

Registration closes at 5pm on Friday 25 September 2026. It’s free, takes a few minutes and there’s no late option — if you’re not registered by then, you can’t buy a ticket in October.

When Is Glastonbury 2027?

Glastonbury Festival will run from Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June 2027 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset. It will be the first festival after the planned 2026 fallow year.

Detailed opening times, travel routes and on-site guidance for 2027 have not yet been published. For now, the dates are enough to start thinking about annual leave, travel and accommodation.

Glastonbury 2027 Tickets: What You Need to Know

Register Before Ticket Sales

Everyone aged 13 or over needs a valid registration number before they can try for a ticket. Registration is free and requires a passport-style photo.

If you have registered before, check that your details and photo are still current. Registration is temporarily suspended before and during the main sales, so sorting it now is one useful job you can tick off.

How the Ticket Sale Works

There are two sales, and for campervan purposes they are not interchangeable.

  • Ticket + coach packages — 6pm, Thursday 1 October. Your ticket bundled with a coach journey. Travel on the coach you book is compulsory.
  • General admission — 9am, Sunday 4 October. Festival entry on its own.

See Tickets is the festival’s only authorised seller, and tickets are personalised and non-transferable.

If you want a campervan, buy general admission

In 2025, campervan and caravan passes were sold only to general admission ticket holders. Anyone on a ticket + coach package could not buy one.

The 2027 pass rules haven’t been published and almost certainly won’t be before 1 October, so you’ll be making that call without official confirmation. Plan for the same rule: if a van is the plan, Sunday 4 October is your sale.

The Thursday sale is usually the easier one to get through, which is exactly why people take it and regret it. Settle it with your group before the night.

The 2025 festival also included spring ticket resales, but no 2027 resale dates or arrangements have been confirmed.

What Will Glastonbury 2027 Tickets Cost?

A full weekend general admission ticket is £408 plus a £5 booking fee. You pay a £100 deposit per person when you buy, with the balance due between 1 and 7 April 2027. Miss that window and the ticket goes back into the resale.

For context, the 2025 ticket was £378.50 including the booking fee.

Taking a Campervan to Glastonbury 2027

A campervan can be a glorious upgrade from a tent: a proper bed, lockable storage and somewhere dry to make the first coffee of the day. However, hiring a campervan and getting into Glastonbury are completely separate things.

The detailed 2027 campervan arrangements have not been announced. Under the latest published guidance for the 2025 festival:

  • Everyone staying in the vehicle needed a valid weekend Festival ticket, except children aged 12 or under travelling with a ticket-holding adult.
  • The vehicle needed its own campervan or caravan pass.
  • Campervan passes were available only to general admission ticket holders, not people travelling on a ticket + coach package.
  • The vehicle had to have purpose-built sleeping facilities and fitted cooking or washing facilities.

A Quirky Campers booking does not include a Festival ticket or campervan pass. The 2027 rules, sale dates and prices have not yet been announced, so leave room to adjust your plans when the autumn 2026 booking information arrives.

Use the Glastonbury campervan collection to see vans whose owners accept festival bookings. Our guide to taking a campervan to a UK festival also covers the practical bits, from packing to keeping your van comfortable through a long weekend.

Should You Book a Campervan Before You Have Tickets?

You do not need to book your campervan before securing Glastonbury tickets, but booking early may give you more choice.

If you decide to book ahead, choose a campervan that accepts festival bookings and read the payment and cancellation terms carefully. It is also worth having a backup trip in mind, so the booking still works for you if you do not get tickets.

Somerset makes an excellent Plan B. You could explore Wells, Cheddar Gorge, the Mendips and the Somerset Levels, or spend time in Glastonbury town outside the busiest festival traffic. Browse campervan hire in Somerset and choose a campsite and route that work for the weekend you have planned.

Your Glastonbury 2027 Planning Timeline

There is no need to plan everything at once. Work with the information that is available now and add the rest as it is announced.

Now — before 25 September

  • Register, or check your existing registration photo and details are current. Deadline is 5pm on Friday 25 September.
  • Agree who’s travelling and how many belted seats and berths you need.
  • Browse festival-friendly campervans and save a shortlist.

1 and 4 October

  • Coach packages Thursday, general admission Sunday. If you want a van, buy general admission.

Mid-to-late October

  • Watch for the campervan pass announcement. Last cycle it came eleven days after the main sale.
  • Book your van.

April 2027

  • Pay your ticket balance between 1 and 7 April.

Choosing the Right Campervan

Start with the less glamorous but important details: the number of belted seats for travelling and the number of berths for sleeping. They are not always the same.

Once you have narrowed your search to campervans available for Glastonbury, think about the size and layout that will work for your group. A compact van may suit one or two people, while larger groups can browse family-friendly Glastonbury campervans with enough belted seats, beds and living space.

Then think about what will make a long festival weekend more comfortable. Good storage and a fridge are useful, while off-grid Glastonbury campervans can help if reliable battery power matters to you. If you want the option of showering in the van, browse Glastonbury campervans with an inside shower. Every Quirky Camper is different, so check the individual listing rather than assuming a feature is included.

If this is your first Quirky booking, our guide to hiring a campervan explains how listings, insurance and collection work.

Has the Glastonbury 2027 Line-up Been Announced?

No official 2027 line-up has been announced. Treat headliner stories and social-media rumours as speculation until the festival publishes its own news.

The Bottom Line

The Glastonbury 2027 dates are confirmed, but the ticket sale, prices, campervan passes and line-up are still to come. Register now, keep the autumn announcement on your radar and make sure any early campervan booking also works as a backup trip.

Whether you end up in the official campervan fields or enjoying a quieter road trip elsewhere, a little flexibility now will make the final planning much easier. Browse campervans for Glastonbury and start a shortlist for June 2027.

QUICK ANSWERS FOR HIRERS

Glastonbury campervan hire FAQ

Why Take A Campervan to A Festival?

It’s time to leave the wet wipes at home. From the safety and security of a campervan, you can have all your little luxuries while still enjoying the Glastonbury Festival vibes to the full. Come back after a full day and night of dancing, singing and general festival shenanigans to a warm, plush bed, a solid roof over your head, running water, solar panels for your gadgets, a full kitchen for a hangover-curing morning fry-up, and even a shower if you choose from our luxury range with showers included. If this isn’t the best way to do a festival, we don’t know what is!

How do I book accommodation near Glastonbury?

Three options, and they fill in this order: a campervan pass for the on-site or Bath & West fields, an off-site campsite within shuttle distance, or accommodation further out. For the campervan route you need a general admission ticket, then a pass, then a van that meets the spec.

Which companies offer shuttle services to Glastonbury?

Glastonbury runs a free 24-hour shuttle between the Bath & West campervan fields and the festival bus station. Several off-site campsites near Pilton run their own – we’ve listed those with distances and prices in our off-site campsites guide.

Where can I buy official Glastonbury Festival tickets?

Only at glastonbury.seetickets.com, the festival’s sole authorised seller. Tickets carry the holder’s photo and are non-transferable, so resale sites are both risky and pointless. Registration is separate and free.

What are the campervan fields actually like?

No electric hook-up, and generators aren’t allowed. For five days you’re running on the van’s leisure battery and solar. Worth choosing a van with decent off-grid power if you care about charging phones.

What’s provided: fresh water taps, waste disposal points, toilets, 24-hour security and a 24-hour food trader.

You don’t choose your pitch. It’s first come, first served and stewards direct you in. If you’re going with friends, arrive in convoy — turn up separately and you won’t be parked together.

Awnings are allowed, but there’s room for an awning or a car alongside the van, not both.

On-site or off-site: the East fields are roughly a ten-minute walk to the site and twenty to the main stages. Bath & West is off-site with a free 24-hour shuttle — further out, but usually a quieter night.

These are the 2025 rules. We’ll update this page as soon as Glastonbury publishes the 2027 details.

Why Choose a Quirky Campervan?

Quirky Campers has the best selection of hand-made campervans in the UK. Our platform brings together the ultimate van lifers and allows them to share their beloved homes on wheels with you! Choose from a wide selection of over 250 uniquely crafted campervan conversions. Each with its own individual personality – just like you! Every year our festival-friendly campervan range sells out for Glastonbury – so book well in advance to avoid disappointment!

Which campervans can go in the on-site fields?

Glastonbury’s on-site East campervan fields take vehicles up to 8 metres. Anything longer can only use the large pitch at the Bath & West Showground, which sits off-site with a free 24-hour shuttle — and cost £100 more than a standard pitch in 2025.

Of our fleet, 255 vans come in under 8 metres and can use the on-site fields.

Worth knowing if you’re comparing hire companies: Glastonbury restricts delivered hire vehicles to Bath & West. Our vans are collected from the owner and driven by you, so you’re not a delivered vehicle and the on-site fields stay open to you.

Check the length on the listing before you buy your pass. You can’t change the pitch type afterwards.

Which campervans are available?

We have a range of sizes, functionality and pick-up locations on offer. Pick-up locations are located across the UK and include London, Somerset and Bristol. All of our campervans include all basic kitchen equipment and other extras can be added as desired. Most of them also come with heating, either in the form of woodburners or other heating systems.

Want the full deluxe experience? Check out our range of luxury campervans.

Nervous about driving a van? Choose from our range of small campervans not much bigger than a car!

Taking the kids along with you? Check out our range of family campervans.

Can I book before I have a campervan pass?

Yes, and most people do — but book knowing how the terms work.

A booking is secured with a 20% deposit and we can’t reserve or hold a van without one. If you don’t get a campervan pass, it’s treated as a normal cancellation, and what you get back depends on how far out you cancel:

  • More than 90 days before collection: full refund
  • More than 30 days before: 80% refund
  • More than 14 days before: 50% refund
  • More than 7 days before: 20% refund

Since the campervan pass sale falls around nine months before the festival, anyone cancelling because they missed out would be well inside the 90-day window and refunded in full. Check the current booking conditions before you book, as terms can vary by owner.

The trade-off is straightforward. Book now and you choose from everything. Wait until you have a pass and you choose from what’s left.
